Spring term

I hope this term goes better. last term was pretty rough, but i made it through it.

So far it seems to be pretty good.

I got out of class early, but found out i was behind on the reading already. my instructor failed to explain how he was going to be posting reading assignments, didn't matter as he is giving everyone a free pass since not everyone was able to get signed up for the class. you'd think that after 100 years of scheduling classes that they'd get the hang of it.

I forgot it was St. Patty's day

I've been so busy that the date slipped my mind. i didn't wear green today, but that seems to be okay since no else at work wore green either.

even though i don't have school for a week i'm still busy and will probably be busy until school starts again on the 28th.

good grief.

well crap

It's been a long time and if it wasn't for Ryan I wouldn't be posting here. what a jerk (me, not him, although he is a jerk).

So everyone is a year older. Tyler just turned 1 and is starting to walk. It seems like my kids take longer to walk than everyone else's, but that is okay, I'm not in a hurry to be chasing him around the house. Chasing him around the yard will be fun though.

Audrey, my beautiful daughter, will be 5 this year and we are looking into putting her in tee ball. She is smart, sassy and stubborn, just like a combination of her parents, poor girl. I look forward to feeling sorry for any man that falls in love with her, I get the feeling that she will break his spirit, that's my girl.

Brendan, my oldest, is 7, 8 this July and is playing basketball. he does well and I look forward to spending more time with him this summer, playing catch and shooting hoops. He will be in baseball soon and I hope he does well, he sure does try hard.

Jilene, my wife, is great like always. I find myself appreciating her more and more as of late, it's probably why I am starting to be nicer to her now than I have been in the past. We will be married 5 years this April, hard to believe, but it's a fun ride and I look forward to our future together.

As for me, I've been in a holding pattern, not really doing anything new. I take care of my family and try to stay out of other peoples drama. I do think that the holding pattern will change though, I've been thinking about going back to school and getting some more smarts. I'll try to keep you posted.

P.S. getting thoughts out of your head onto "paper" is nice, even if it's a blog that no one reads

Another year gone.

this friday will be the start of my 33rd year of this life i lead. 33. wow, i'm not old, just older, although "young me" would probably call "me now" old, i don't feel old.

i really don't have many plans for my birthday. I'm taking 2 days off to do whatever i feel like (and can afford), alcohol will probably be involved, although not in the quantities that have been experienced on past birthdays, i'll probably play some video games and maybe even do some yard work (stupid gophers), and golfing (if the weather is nice).

god, i am old.

party on saturday, w00t!!
